[UPDATE: View the Rob Garcia Storify at the bottom of this page for a recap of the live Q&A.]

We are all social beings. That is why we participate in #MobileChat. We like to talk, and mobile technology has made it possible to have conversations in real time with people half a world away. Mobile technology has changed how we interact in real life too. Here are some DOs and DON’Ts of real life networking in the age of mobile technology from our next guest, Rob Garcia. He is a believer in leveraging mobile technologies to supercharge your networking activities. Relationships are key in most endeavors in life. The more you have, the better. It can be hard to manage them though, and that is where Rob can help us.

Rob is the Chief Product Officer and CoFounder of ConnectUp, an app that helps you manage hundreds of networking connections. You write one note, and the app personalizes it and sends it to connections. This keeps networking efficient, without losing the personal touch necessary to keep people interested. Rob is an innovator, a product guy, and a social human being. On this weeks #MobileChat, we will discuss ConnectUp, networking etiquette in a digital world, and how use social networks to connect to the right people and build symbiotic relationships.

Join us Wednesday, March 25th from 9-10pm ET via #MobileChat on Twitter for a live Q/A with Rob Garcia. A digital cocktail party about real life cocktail parties? Drinks on me.

Look forward to chatting – Ryson Walden
