#MobileChat with Red e App

I love to learn. I love to chat.

That’s why I’m announcing that we’re going to start a new TweetChat called #MobileChat with me (@MarketingMusing) and @RedeApp.

TweetChats are a new way to connect with other like-minded people on Twitter. If you’re not familiar with the concept, imagine Twitter is like your cable provider and a TweetChat is one of those channels you can watch. However, unlike a television show, a TweetChat allows you to engage and provide a voice to the community.  For a list of TweetChats check the Twitter Chat Schedule and TweetChats by Day.

WHY #MobileChat
Here’s why I want to moderate #MobileChat.  I’ve been to plenty of conferences, seminars, and panel discussions in the past. I’ve found that I learn the most when the speaker stops the formal one-way communication presentation to the audience and does Q&A. I want to hear from others in the audience. I want to see what questions they have and get responses from the speaker and from the community. I want to ask the ‘what if’ questions or the really hard questions that take a community to answer, not just one person. I want to learn from others and I want to grow professionally.

WHEN #MobileChat
Every Wednesday evening from 9-10pm EST.  The first #MobileChat starts Wednesday, August 1st.

HOW #MobileChat
I will moderate and co-host with the team at @RedeApp, where currently I’m the Product and Engagement Director. If you’ve ever been in a TweetChat you know it’s fast paced so I’m thankful to have the support of the team and voices behind @RedeApp.

WHO #MobileChat
We’ll invite and do Q&A every week with various guests that are as consumed with mobile as we are. We’ll invite mobile experts in hardware, software, app development, marketing, mobile use/behavior, and more. We’ll invite those involved with mobile start-ups that have new apps and ideas as well as experts in well established industries.

I have on my list several mobile advocates that I want to hear from. How about you?
