In parts 1 and 2, I talked about the Red e App pivot and the critical pieces that made our decision a success. The final piece to our puzzle is “trust”.
Trust in your decision, turst your team, and trust your instincts. One thing that is critical to moving forward is everyone on the team holding up their end. It isn’t one person, it is accountability and professionalism across the board in each little functional area that allows the business to scale and appropriately address a market.
Success takes a great deal of trust between team members that each person hits their deadlines, each person performs a proper handoff, each person communicates effectively. I trust my team, I trust my instincts, and trust my customers.
We are all fully invested and partners in the success of the decision to change. At the end of the day, trust alleviates the stress that can fracture decisions and teams.
