What is a Sales Development Representative?

As the foundation of the sales team, leads will come through you first. Your job will include prospecting, nurturing, and most important of all — selling. Sales Development Representative roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Generate new business leads through outbound prospecting
  • Run initial discovery calls with current prospects
  • Qualify inbound web demo requests and inbound calls to introduce to our sales team
  • Successfully manage prospect objections and become a trusted resource with prospects
  • Work closely with both marketing managing lead lists, marketing campaigns, and more  
  • Conduct business dealings in a way that creates a superior prospect experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up
  • Update lead scoring and prospect interaction in salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management

About you:

  • Passionate about communication, tech, and Red e App
  • Graduate of a four-year university or have at least 2 years of sales experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, Excel, Google Apps, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills through all mediums of communication from email to webinars
  • Self starter with a strong desire to learn and become an expert
  • Willing to own your position and come up with big picture ideas that streamline your work and make everyone more efficient
  • Experience in selling Software as a Service would give you an edge
