#MobileChat No. 117: The best apps for _____________

Red e Santa

[UPDATE: View the Best Apps Storify at the bottom of this page for a recap of the live Q&A]

The holiday season is upon us, and you know what that means: people will be getting new mobile devices. Whether you’re getting an iPhone, Kindle,  Nexus,  or other, it comes with a process that starts with “what apps should I download?”

Productivity apps make your life easier, games make waiting in line more fun, social apps keep you from suffering from FOMO anxiety (fear of missing out), and #MobileChat is on the cutting edge of which apps are the best in class. I would venture to say that most of us are early adopters or innovators, so who better than to help you narrow down your list.

This list isn’t just for you either. Kid getting an iPad for Christmas? Great. This #MobileChat is for them too. We will also discuss topics of what the best apps for children are and which apps are best for education. We can’t have our kids playing Flappy Bird all day.

Join us Wednesday, December 17th from 9-10pm ET via #MobileChat on Twitter as we chat about one of our favorite all time topics: mobile devices and the best apps to put on them. What apps are must download classics? What new apps are worth trying? We will find out soon.

Look forward to chatting – Ryson Walden
