As most of you have seen by now we are sunsetting #MobileChat, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t going out with a bang. We are happy to announce that for our second to last #MobileChat Kelly Lieberman and Kim Vij will be our guests. Kelly Lieberman of #PinChat fame is a social media manager and consultant who founded the Pinterest Chat #PinChat. #PinChat is a weekly Twitter chat that began in 2011 to discuss best practices, tools, new uses, highlight brand usage, personal and professional use of Pinterest. The success of #PinChat led to Kelly being chosen by Pinterest to join their Pinterest Expert Community to help businesses learn more about everything from home feeds to analytics.
Kim Vij is the co-founder and marketing director of The Educators’ Spin On It, a website for parents and teachers featuring kids activities. As a Pinfluencer she has created award winning Pinterest Boards with over 1.6 million followers by focusing pins on education and parenting. Kim launched Vij Consulting, focusing her expertise in the area of Pinterest for businesses and bloggers and often can be found speaking at conferences.
As you might have guessed, our topic for this weeks #MobileChat will be pinning on the go. Pinterest is in the midst of a pivotal moment, as they have recently added the buy button. With more and more online purchases coming from mobile devices, their app is more important than ever. We will discuss things like differences between using Pinterest on a desktop vs mobile/app, what brands and bloggers can do to get their mobile sites ready for Pinterest, and what can you do to optimize your Pinterest for Pinners on mobile among other things.
